By Mark Edwards

Northern Ireland's technology and science park has collected more than £4,000 for charity.

Catalyst Inc hosted more than 100 people at the 'spinathon' event to raise cash for Bowel Cancer UK.

Catalyst Inc held the 12-hour event across its three campuses in Belfast, Londonderry and Ballymena with staff from more than 30 companies taking part.

Earlier this year the science park announced a three-year partnership with Bowel Cancer UK with the goal of raising £15,000 for the charity, with all funds going to initiatives and programmes across Northern Ireland.
