Charity to cut ribbon as new B&M store opens at Forestside
A new B&M store in south Belfast will open tomorrow with the creation of 25 new jobs.
And staff at the budget retail outlet, which is located in a former JJB Sports store in Drumkeen Retail Park, requested that staff from MacMillian Cancer Support cut the ribbon at the launch.
In addition to opening the new store, the representatives from MacMillan will also receive £250 of B&M vouchers.
B&M Drumkeen store manager Lana Kinnier said: "The new team have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day and we can't wait to get the doors open on Friday and show customers their new B&M Forestside."
The former JJB store has undergone an internal and external refurbishment.
B&M has said that it plans to open between 50 and 60 stores around the UK this year, but would not confirm if any of those stores would be located in Northern Ireland.
