DUP leader to speak on Brexit at conference
DUP leader Arlene Foster is to speak about Brexit at an economic conference in Co Kerry at the weekend.
The former First Minister will represent Northern Ireland on a panel of figures from the British Isles at the Killarney Economic Conference, which takes place on Friday and Saturday.
She is participating in a two-hour discussion entitled 'how will our future politics be shaped by Brexit?'
Also on the panel will be Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin and conference organiser Simon Kingston, head of the non-profit sector for Russell Reynolds Associates.
Mark Drakeford, Welsh Cabinet Secretary for Finance, and Michael Russell, minister for UK Negotiations on Scotland's Place in Europe, complete the line-up.
The conference, which is held in partnership with the Irish Times, will also consider the legal issues arising from Brexit, how businesses will cope and the personal and social impact of the UK's departure from the EU.
