The owners of a wind farm in the north west have donated £170,000 to a community fund for coronavirus relief measures.
SSE Airtricity and SSE Renewables, who own the Slieve Kirk Wind Park, said a further £120,000, in addition to £50,000 distributed over the last month, had been donated.
The money has gone to "local community projects supporting vulnerable people through the delivery of vital food, medicine and essential goods, including essential PPE".
SSE said the balance of the fund, totalling £170,000, had been released to help with ongoing pressures in the local community.
SSE Ireland chairman Mark Ennis described the funds as "a significant contribution towards tackling an ongoing crisis".
