Firms urged to bid for new start-up fund
Start-up and early stage firms seeking to ramp up their funding are being urged to enter InterTradeIreland's Seedcorn Investor Readiness competition.
The programme by the cross-border body offers a chance to win a share of a €280,000 (£242,000) prize fund.
Downpatrick company Jumpack Ltd, which sells a portable extreme sports ramp, won the best new start-up category last year and a €20,000 (£17,000) prize. The competition mirrors the challenging real-life investment process.
Workshops will be held to provide more information.
