NI homeware firm Bedeck says it is on track for double digit growth next year after its footfall grew by 10% following an 18-month investment programme.

Bedeck, which is based in Magheralin, said it had invested a seven figure sum to improve its properties including its Lisburn Road flagship store and a new 5,000 sq ft trade showroom at its head office. The stores employ 325 people in the UK and Ireland.

Andrew Irwin, joint managing director, said there had been "a resurgence of interest for outlet shopping and the shopper experience is no less important here than that of shopping on the high street". He added: "Our investment in the outlets reflects that."

The company has also launched an archive for its artwork portfolio. The revamped Lisburn Road store was launched by George Clarke of Channel 4's Amazing Spaces.
