Former Wrightbus factory and DSD six-storey office block on the market

Three Co Antrim industrial redevelopment and investment sites and a prominent Belfast Gasworks property are now on the market.

A fully occupied site in Nutts Corner Business Park, which currently benefits from over £70,000 gross rental income annually, is now on the market for offers of £500,000.

CBRE, which has listed the site on Dundrod Road, has said it comes with a "strong tenant profile" which includes construction solutions firm, Kwikform Ltd.

The established industrial estate also comes with "significant asset management opportunities", added CBRE.

Meanwhile in Ballymena, a property on Galgorm Industrial Estate spanning 13,931 sq ft is on the market for £300,000.

Set on a 2.5 acre site, the warehouse is made of portal steel frame construction with a concrete floor, steel clad elevations and brick walls with eaves height of 16ft.

And in Antrim, the former Wrightbus En-Drive chassis production facility is up for sale.

The manufacturing facility, totalling over 99,000 sq ft and 5.4 acres of zoned industrial land, is available for sale/to let in its entirety of building.

The site at 2 Caulside Drive and surrounding lands supported Wrightbus' employment boost back in 2014 when it added 130 new staff to its team in a £14m investment at Ballymena which it said would build on exports.

However, Wrightbus left the site around two years ago.

In the office sector a major building in Belfast's Gasworks estate has been brought to market.

The Lighthouse, which includes 60,000 sq ft of grade A office space over six floors, is available to let from July 2019 following an internal refurbishment.

Built in 2003, the building has previously been occupied by the Department for Social Development and later the Department for Communities.

Lighthouse is being marketed for sale by Osborne King and RHM Commercial.

Nick Rose of RHM said: "It is extremely rare for an entire building of this quality to become available."

Richard McCaig of Osborne King added: "Given the lack of available grade A office accommodation in Belfast we are excited to bring a building of this size and quality to the market.

"In our experience deliverability of projects is key in order to attract tenants and Lighthouse offers the chance for an occupier to secure the largest amount of existing office space available in the city."

Elsewhere, a self-contained office suite over two floors in Mallusk is available to let. CBRE has listed the office block on 22 Mallusk Road, which comes with 12 parking spaces.

It said the "well finished" set-up is charged at £10 per sq ft.
