Voucher scheme: Argento boss Peter Boyle

The High Street Voucher Scheme has been hailed a success by the Department for the Economy as data revealing its geographical reach and spend was revealed by the Economy Minister, Gordon Lyons.

But others say it’s too soon to know if the scheme has achieved its goal of benefiting Northern Ireland’s high street businesses, from hairdressers to boutiques which suffered most during the pandemic and were forced to close for long periods.
