High-end coffee chain adds Forestside outlet

High-end coffee and pastry chain Patisserie Valerie is opening up in south Belfast's Forestside Shopping Centre.

It will be Patisserie Valerie's third outlet in Northern Ireland, joining others in Belfast city centre.

A spokesman for the joint letting agents said that the chain would trade "from a prominent position within the centre" and bring an undisclosed number of jobs. Joint leasing agents Savills and Colliers secured the new letting on behalf of the landlord.

Darren Best, associate director at Savills, said: "Forestside continues to attract leading multi-national brands and the addition of Patisserie Valerie will complement the existing food and beverage provision within the centre".

The centre is already home to a Caffe Nero and a Marks & Spencer cafe.

Mr Best said: "Forestside is 100% let and with demand for space at Forestside exceeding availability we are currently working to create opportunities for other brands who are looking to locate within the centre."

The centre first opened in 1997 and has now grown to 35 shops and cafes.
