HMRC warns of new Brexit pressures

By Andrew Woodcock

The additional pressures of dealing with Brexit could have catastrophic consequences for customs authorities, an influential House of Commons committee has warned.

HM Revenue and Customs believes that projects linked to the UK's EU withdrawal could add 15% to its workload, said a Public Accounts Committee report.
