Investment firm marks a decade in NI
An investment management firm has said opening in Belfast during the economic crash helped secure the trust of clients.
Quilter Cheviot, which is marking 10 years in Northern Ireland and which has around 750 clients here, said it had been able to usher clients' portfolios through the crash.
Nigel Crawford, head of the Belfast office, added: "As one of the longer-standing investment management firms in Belfast, we are well-placed to witness this first-hand and continue to help our clients with their investment needs."
Chief executive Martin Baines said the opening in 2008 had worked to the firm's advantage.
"By working with clients to ease their concerns and tailoring portfolios to their specific requirements, the Belfast team was able to gain their trust and have since been able to build on this success," he explained.
The company's Belfast office is in Montgomery House on Montgomery Street.
