IT professionals in Northern Ireland and their firms have just two days left to enter the inaugural Belfast Telegraph IT Awards 2019.

The awards - which are proudly sponsored by law firm Carson McDowell - culminate in a ceremony at the MAC Theatre in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter on November 9.

The judging panel for the awards is led by Professor Karen Rafferty, head of the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queen's University.

There are 14 categories to enter, with half relating to projects and services carried out by IT companies, and the remainder to people working in the sector.

Speaking last month, Professor Karen Rafferty said: "I am really honoured to lead the judging panel for the IT awards.

"This is a brilliant initiative and one that is timely and important for Northern Ireland in terms of recognising all the achievements of our local industrial network."

Category sponsors include law firm Wilson Nesbitt, sponsor of the IT Project Team of the Year, and Version 1, sponsor of the Young IT Professional category.
