Land with residential potential goes on the market for £495k
A site covering 3.26 acres one mile north of Ballymena has been put on the market by estate agency Lisney.
The land at the junction of Galgorm Road and Dans Road comes with a guideline price of £495,000.
Andrew Gawley, director at Lisney, said: "This site is extremely accessible and therefore entirely suitable for a residential development. It also backs on to Cambridge House Grammar School's playing fields and is just half a mile from Ballymena Academy."
He said the site was zoned as 'white land' and any development was subject to all necessary consents, with interested parties advised to make their own planning inquiries. "We are expecting high demand for this site from local builders and developers due to its desirable location and scale of the plot," he added.
This is the second site with residential potential that Lisney has brought to the market recently.
In March it listed the former Ballee Home in Ballymena, which offers a residential redevelopment opportunity across 1.48 acres, with 12,000 sq ft of buildings suitable for a range of uses, subject to planning permission.
"This is also an attractive site in the area which has received good interest, and a number of viewings with potential purchasers have been facilitated," said Mr Gawley.
