A Lisburn-based tech firm has won four contracts in London worth £10.5m.

OKTO Technologies said the deals will involve it developing and delivering its own 'smart building technologies' to residential developments currently under construction in the West End.

The company specialises in providing tech solutions for ultra-luxury homes.

Compared to a virtual butler, OKTO's systems enable occupants to control everything from lighting and climate to audio/visual and IT.

The latest contracts include the provision of 'lifestyle technology systems integration' for 25 new apartments and penthouses at The Peninsula Hotel and Residences, where OKTO has been appointed by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotel Group, along with Prime Developments and UK contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine.

OKTO has also been appointed by luxury developer Clivedale London to design and install systems for 23 luxury apartments for Mayfair Park Residences.

Another deal with property developer CPC Group will see the Lisburn company deliver its full suite of building technology systems to Duke's Lodge, the largest new residential development in Holland Park.
