Lisburn industrial estate on the market for £8.5m

A large industrial estate near Lisburn is up for sale with an asking price of £8.5m.

Spread over 20 acres, the Knockmore industrial estate is made up of 10 blocks of industrial and office accommodation.

It comes two days after the 30-acre Antrim Business Park, next to The Junction retail outlet, went on the market for £12.5m.

Situated two miles from Lisburn city centre and four miles from the M1, Knockmore industrial estate includes 320,000 sq ft of warehousing and offices and is nearly fully let.

Its current tenants include Ford, Bio Chem Research, Decora Blinds, ADE, KME and Eagle Overseas.

Commercial real estate agency CBRE said it attracts gross rent of £801,835.

CBRE has also indicated that additional lands next to the site are available through a separate negotiation.

It comprises of two houses and outbuildings, which CBRE said would be suitable for redevelopment, subject to planning permission.

The industrial estate is also well positioned to benefit from the construction of the long-mooted link road between the M1 at Sprucefield and Knockmore Road.

Meanwhile, a third estate located next to the A1 in Newry has also gone on the market this week with an asking price of £450,000.

The 1.58 acre site at Station Park is beside Newry train station.

It has already been cleared and comes with full planning permission for the erection of three storage and distribution units along with two light industrial units.
