A Lisburn moulding manufacturer has said it's invested nearly £1m in a new facility.

Ad-Vance Engineering said the expansion with a purpose-built facility outside Lisburn came after it had doubled its customer base and boosted sales by 20% a year since 2015.

Major clients include Armstrong Medical and Brett Martin.

As well as expanding exports over the last 15 years, the company has also won a number of contracts in Britain.

Founder and managing director Roger Vance said: "We're now established as an integral part of national and global supply chains. Our customers regard us their partner, as they seek our advice and know they can rely on the quality and precision design of the moulds we manufacture."

It's now supplying one in five of the biggest injection moulding businesses in the UK.

And Mr Vance said he hopes to expand the company even more in the next three years.

"By focusing our new business drive on the top tier injection moulders, we've recently won new contracts in the automotive, pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. This only consolidates our reputation as a premium supply chain partner.

"To further enhance our capability and reach, we will continue to invest in our people, facilities and equipment to ensure we produce quality moulds."
