Lotus secures deal with Scottish court services
Northern Ireland property investment company Lotus has announced the letting of offices to the Scottish courts services.
Lotus Property bought a 1.3 million sq ft property portfolio in Scotland valued at approximately £60m last year.
Now it's announced two suites at the West Port House development on Marketgait in Dundee have been let to Scottish Courts and the Crown Prosecution Service on a 15-year term.
The portfolio snapped up by Lotus Property last year included other assets in West Marketgait, Wester Gourdie Industrial Estate and Dunsinane Industrial Estate.
Lotus Property is a major investment company which also owns shopping centres and retail parks. Managing director Alastair Coulson said the deal confirmed "positive movement" in the city's market.
"I remain confident that Dundee is primed to become one of the UK's next property investment hotspots," he said.
