Belfast-based McGreevy Engineering has expanded further into the aerospace market following a £175,000 investment.
The family-owned firm, which specialises in precision machined components, has reported 50% growth, expanding its workforce by one third to around 15 people.
It said the new investment will enable the company to further diversify its capabilities, setting it up to carry out projects for the aerospace manufacturing market.
Managing director Aaron McGreevy said the company took part in an aerospace event in Toulouse last week and will return to the French city next week for Aeromart Toulouse, linking it in with some of Europe's best aerospace engineering and technology firms.
Mr McGreevy said he wants the engineering specialist to become a major player in the aerospace industry.
"It's an exciting time for the company, the engineering sector in Northern Ireland is one of the best in the world, competition is rife and this investment will position McGreevy Engineering among the finest that Northern Ireland has to offer," said the engineering boss.
"We have had our sights set on the aerospace industry for a long time and after continual training and development, I can safely say that we have the skill set to service the industry to the highest quality."
