MJM eyes Chinese cruise ship market

By Margaret Canning

A director of fit-out firm MJM Group has said it will be looking increasingly to China after completing its first dry-dock project there.

In today's Business Telegraph, director Naoimh McConville she says she hopes the company's recent deal to fit-out an Azamara cruise ship at Harland & Wolff will be a game-changer for the ship fit-out industry here.

MJM was a major winner at last year's Belfast Telegraph Business Awards in partnership with Ulster Bank. And as excitement builds for this year's awards, Ms McConville said: "MJM Group was delighted to have won Overall Business of the Year and Excellence in Export category in the 2017 awards.

"Achieving this award was truly a tribute to the continued success and commitment of all our staff as we would not have won this outstanding award, or be where we are today as a successful exporter, without our outstanding people.

"It was a tremendous achievement for everyone at MJM Group to be proud of."
