Family-owned restaurant business Moes Grill has opened at a Co Down shopping outlet, in a £0.9m investment bringing 25 new jobs.

It's the sixth firm to open at the The Boulevard in Banbridge this year. The centre said it is currently outperforming against the UK's 2019 retail trends, with a 24% year-to-date growth and a 15% increase in footfall.

Chris Nelmes, retail director at the centre, said: "With sales and footfall increasing at The Boulevard it is important that we continually strive to bring something new to our customers.

"We are proud to welcome this family-owned restaurant chain to the centre and believe they will be a popular addition to the mall."

Moes Grill owner Darren Clarke said: "We are very pleased to have found a home at The Boulevard for our third restaurant, especially given the synergy between their shoppers and our target diners."

There are Moes venues in Antrim's The Junction shopping outlet and in Magherafelt.
