New drive-thru Subway to open in Belfast with creation of 13 jobs
The store will open on the site of an existing KFC
Sandwich chain Subway is to open a new 2,000 sq ft drive-thru restaurant on the Boucher Road in Belfast.
The new unit is on the existing KFC site, which is owned by local property company Kirk Bryson and Co, and is expected to be completed and open by summer 2018.
Stephen Smith at Osborne King who negotiated the letting on behalf of the landlord said the new store would be Subway's first drive-thru in Northern Ireland.
“We are delighted to have secured a letting to Subway and particularly pleased they have chosen this site to operate their first drive-thru restaurant in Northern Ireland," he said.
"Boucher Road is an ever popular retail/leisure location and we wish Subway every success for the future.”
Subway currently has over 2,500 stores in the UK and Ireland and the new store is expected to create up to 13 full time and part-time jobs.
