New look for M&S Foodhall in Abbeycentre

M&S Foodhall in Abbeycentre will be one of three UK stores to get an overhaul in time for Christmas, the retailer has announced.

Doors to the new-look store will open on December 4.

The store has recruited 90 colleagues to join its team, which includes offering new roles to existing M&S staff.

Manager Colin McGreevy said: "There is a real buzz locally around the new-look foodhall opening and I want to thank our customers for being so patient during the refurbishment.

"The team has been working so hard to get ready for the unveiling of our bigger, better, fresher store in time for Christmas and we hope to see the local community turn out to support us on the day."

The first 200 customers to arrive when the store opens will be in with a chance of receiving a £200 gift card.

Other prizes include two £100 gift cards, as well as £20 and £5 off vouchers to use towards in-store shops.

The store's revamp makes it the first in all of Ireland to undergo the change which includes more fresh food and new concepts.
