A bed linen company based in Lisburn has secured £400,000 in investment to help its expansion and create four jobs.

Linen Bundle sells luxury cotton sheets and bedding online, shipping its products across the UK and Ireland. It's also planning to launch in France. Now it's intending to use its cash injection from the Growth Loan Fund II to fund working capital and hire four staff in the next year.

Director Thomas Glackin said he set the business up to cater to a middle-ground between top-end luxury bedding and low-priced goods. "Since we launched sales have consistently exceeded expectations," he said, adding that by the end of the year he plans to expand the business into duvets, pillows and other products.

Finance for the Growth Loan Fund is provided by economic development agency Invest NI.
