Northern Ireland aircraft interiors firms to exhibit in Germany
Three Northern Ireland manufacturers of aircraft interiors will showcase their products in Germany next month.
Seat cover maker Bradfor from Rostrevor, machining company Exact CNC in Newry and Carrickfergus plastic injection moulding company IPC Mouldings will all exhibit at the Aircraft Interiors Expo from Tuesday, April 10 to Thursday, April 12. Joanne Liddle, managing director of IPC Mouldings, said: "IPC Mouldings is an advanced manufacturing company offering mould tool design and manufacture, CNC machining and plastic injection moulding from concept to completion, specialising in the aircraft interiors industry.
"The aircraft interior expo at Hamburg allows us to showcase our expertise, build relationships, discover new innovation and technologies, be inspired by leading experts and create opportunities to keep us positioned at the top for winning new business."
Stephen Cromie, managing director of Exact CNC, said it had become accustomed to rapid response requests for parts, meeting urgent orders from France and North America over the weekend. Around one-third of the world's aircraft seats are made here.
