Northern Ireland Civil Service aims to reduce office accommodation
The Northern Ireland Civil Service has said it is looking into cutting down the size of its office accommodation.
Agency CVA NI is looking for 15,000 sq metres of Grade A office space on behalf of the NICS.
The space is to be acquired on a leasehold basis.
The Department of Finance said: "The NICS are working with a commercial property agent to undertake a market engagement exercise to fully investigate potential lease options in Belfast city centre.
"The main objective is to explore how the NICS office accommodation could be rationalised to provide a more efficient estate and maximise value for money."
