A south Belfast nursery has lodged a planning application for a new site in the grounds of the King's Hall.

Malone Kindergarten wants to move its 25-year-old unit to a new site with more outside space at the King's Hall, where it is currently located. If approved, it plans to move in July. The new nursery is part of the £100m King's Hall Health and Wellbeing Park.

Alison Madill, principal and manager at Malone Kindergarten, said the move will "further develop our kindergarten pre-school education model which centres on continuing to grow our position in the local community as an innovative, multi-cultural centre of excellence".
