Plans to add to a major housing scheme near the Antrim Road in Belfast have been submitted to Belfast City Council planning officials.

The proposals, which were put forward by Ormeau Road-based firm Bluehouse Development Ltd, include a mixture of apartments and houses in Alexandra Park Avenue and Gainsborough Drive.

The development is made up of a total of 50 homes. The plans follow on from Apex Housing Association's 38 dwellings nearby.

Meanwhile, in Belfast city centre a proposal has been put forward to convert a former office in College Square East into six guest house apartments.

Numbers 11-13 College Square East will be converted into three two-bed guest apartments and a further three one-bedroom apartments.

The proposed guest accommodation will be neighboured by retail outlets Pure Running and Discover Outdoors.
