Bathroom and plumbing specialist Bassetts has opened a £2m outlet in Enniskillen.

The chain now employs 140 staff at 16 branches across Northern Ireland.

Bassetts is part of the Saint-Gobain Group, a French corporation with more than 1,000 outlets in 18 countries.

Recently, Bassett's was named Plumber's Merchant of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

Managing director Alan Wright said: "While trade customers now have the luxury of a full range of plumbing and heating supplies, homeowners who wish to create or update their dream bathroom can also do so.

"A focus on design, innovation and cutting-edge technology, alongside adapting to ever-changing needs of customers, has been key to Bassetts' achievements."
