Popular Larne retail park goes on market for close to £4m

By Michelle Weir

A Co Antrim retail park is being offered for sale at just under £4m.

Laharna Retail Park in Larne has an asking price of £3.98m.

The commercial facility is 100% occupied with tenants including Argos, Menary's, New Look, Peacocks, M&Co and Carphone Warehouse.

Peacocks has recently extended its lease for a further five years and Creed Coffee has just opened on the site.

Developed in 2003, the property comprises 47,883 sq ft of modern purpose-built retail warehouse accommodation.

The facility yields almost £500,000 per annum.

The three acre site also provides 191 parking spaces. As well as 10 retail units, the park also accommodates a first floor bingo hall.

Supermarket Lidl is immediately adjacent to the scheme.

Pedestrian walkways link the site to Main Street.

The retail park is being offered for sale by commercial retail estate agent CBRE.

In Carrickfergus, a prominent town centre building with potential redevelopment opportunity is also on the market for £295,000 at Market Place.

These are just two commercial properties to be featured in our business supplement in Co Antrim. There are also a number of industrial opportunities in Mallusk and Magherafelt.
