A Northern Ireland joinery firm has completed a workspace project for an independent commercial business established by an Act of Parliament.

The Deluxe Group, based in Portadown, delivered the high-end workspace One Heddon Street in Mayfair for The Crown Estate.

The work included the manufacturing of all solid surfaces and fitted furniture within the professional workspace hub, which is located just off Regent Street in a Grade II listed building.

Colm Connolly, director at The Deluxe Group, said: "One Heddon Street has been a really exciting development to work on and one which adds to the growing portfolio of high-end London projects we have delivered in the past year. Using the highest quality material and our specialist detailed joinery skills, our team has created an impressive luxury finish with the same level of attention to detail our clients expect from us."

Described as a dedicated co-working and flexible office space, One Heddon Street was designed to create a new hub for professionals, start-ups, and project teams in the heart of London's West End.

The space offers 350 desks and numerous flexible memberships, ranging from private offices for two to 12 people, to resident desks and co-working. Members are also able to draw on shared amenities, including bookable meeting rooms, boardroom, concierge services, a private roof terrace, and flexible events space, as well as a specially curated programme of wellbeing activities and networking events.

Architects Barr Gazetas, with whom Deluxe worked, said: "Deluxe were very helpful in working with us to maintain the design aesthetic and principles throughout the construction phase whilst also offering solutions if any problems were encountered on site.

"The large curved planter in reception and the seamless Corian and timber clad staircase in the café are highlights of the project and a testament to the Deluxe Group's craftsmanship and willingness to work with us to push boundaries."

The Deluxe Group has worked on projects across Ireland, the UK, Europe, the US and Middle East from small budget projects to large-scale including The Great Scotland Yard Hotel and Belfast's new AC Hotel by Marriott.
