Royal Portrush boss heads to Galgorm Resort
The current boss of Royal Portrush has been appointed non-executive director at the rebranded Galgorm Spa and Golf Resort.
Wilma Erskine, who will retire from Royal Portrush this autumn, will take up her post at Galgorm, which has recently collaborated with Galgorm Castle, allowing it to offer Castle Course, a golf academy and six-hole pitch and putt, to its existing offering.
Gary Henry, managing director of Galgorm Castle, said the move will allow the resort to be "up there with some of the best in the world".
Colin Johnston, managing director of Galgorm Spa and Golf Resort said: "Wilma brings with her a wealth of experience in hospitality and golf management... And will be instrumental in instilling our commitment to golf tourism."
In the last year Galgorm has added 17 individual cottage suites to its accommodation.
