Seasalt fashion chain set to open Belfast outlet

Fast growing UK fashion chain Seasalt Cornwall is set to open its first outlet in Belfast, according to reports.

The ladies clothing store is reportedly preparing to open up on Arthur Street in the city centre.

The unit close to Victoria Square shopping centre was recently vacated by No. 11 cafe.

Situated between Joules and Oliver Bonas, the 1,200 sq ft ground floor retail space commands rent of around £80,000.

From humble beginnings in Penzance in the early 1980s, Seasalt Cornwall has continued to grow rapidly in recent years.

Employing more than 800, the retailer has evolved into a £41m fashion brand, with some 50 stores across the UK.

The company did not respond to a request for comment yesterday.
