The financial director of one of Northern Ireland's biggest family-owned car sales firms says it's prepared for all Brexit eventualities as it unveils its new £5m Newry showroom.

Shelbourne Motors has created 60 new jobs as it opens the showroom for Renault and Kia marques.

Caroline Willis, who is the second generation of the Ward family to run Shelbourne Motors, said: "The UK automotive industry is waiting with bated breath for the impact a potential no-deal Brexit will have on the sector.

"We are operating in a challenging and competitive environment and, as a business, we need to be prepared for all eventualities and adapt to any changes that Brexit might deliver." She added its core market for car sales and after sales was Northern Ireland.
