Supply deals on horizon at £4m fire centre in Tyrone
Northern Ireland firms are being invited to tap into the £4m plan to build a new Fire and Rescue Services Centre in Co Tyrone.
Chief contractor Henry Brothers in Magherafelt has won the contract to build the centre at Desertcreat.
It will include a six-storey tactical firefighting facility, a building with welfare and classroom facilities and a new access road to the site from the Dungannon Road.
Now businesses will have the opportunity to meet Henry Bros to discuss supply chain opportunities at an event this month.
Kim Ashton, chair of Mid Ulster Council, said: "This is a major contract won by a Magherafelt-based company which is now keen to ensure other businesses in Mid Ulster and the wider economy can also benefit."
Contracts director Harry Henry said Henry Brothers was looking forward to meeting suppliers and sub-contractors.
The event will be held at the Glenavon House Hotel in Cookstown on June 25.
