Three producers from Northern Ireland have become the latest brands from here to be stocked in Tesco stores.

The Big Pot Company and Cloughbane, both from Co Tyrone, plus Clean & Tasty have all hit the shelves this month.

Big Pot supplies healthy gourmet foods, while family-run Cloughbane will see two new ranges stocked in Tesco stores here.

Cloughbane will now be adding four vegetarian meals and four Little Farm kids' meals to its existing range at Tesco.

And products from Clean & Tasty in Dunmurry will also help customers looking for convenient and healthy options, Tesco said.

Its meals have around 420 calories or less.

Tess O'Neill, commercial manager at Tesco, said: "Tesco has always been proud to support local farmers and producers.

"These new products prove that Northern Ireland's producers are not only making delicious food, but are also responding to consumer trends and the growing demand for healthy, convenient meals."

She added: "We know our customers here love locally produced items and we're confident these new ranges will be the perfect addition."
