By John Mulgrew

Top business and technology speakers are set to attend a new "talent" summit in Belfast next month.

The Powered By Talent, event which takes place at the Waterfront Hall, on June 14, is being organised by recruitment firm Abacus.

It says it aims to "bring together businesses from the professional services sector to highlight best practice in the attraction, development and retention of a company's main asset, its people".

Speakers at the event include Mark Dowds, founder of Trov, Neil Gibson, chief economist at EY in Ireland and Darragh McCarthy, founder of financial services firm FinTrU.

Justin Rush, founding member of Powered By Talent and director of Abacus Professional Recruitment, said: "We are thrilled that to have such a strong group of keynote speakers and panellists.

"They will reveal their top business tips, the skills required to achieve business success."
