JComms has been named Northern Ireland's Outstanding PR Consultancy at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards.

The Belfast-based company took the gold prize in the category - the most sought-after accolade in the scheme.

JComms also won gold in the arts, culture or sport category for its work on the Tim Peake Spacecraft exhibition at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.

Judges of the awards said that JComms was named Outstanding PR Consultancy due to its clear business strategy, high levels of professionalism and creative client work. Chairman Joris Minne said: "Winning Outstanding Consultancy of the Year gives our clients the reassurance that they are in the best of hands, it reminds the 15 of us employed at JComms that we are indeed outstanding, and the fact that the award is made by peers from across the PR sector is both very humbling and validating."

Managing director Chris Harrison said: "The past year has been a very strong one for the company, with our team's ability to deliver incredibly high-quality, creative work in Northern Ireland, across the UK and Ireland, and internationally enabling us to grow our client-base and revenues.

"I am very proud of the achievement and see it as a great endorsement of our strategy and approach."
