Tourism NI celebrates 2019 success
Tourism NI has said it had an "outstanding year" as it unveiled its new branding at an annual review launch.
Chief executive John McGrillen said figures showed that tourism contributes £2.7m per day to the economy here.
He said golf tournament The Open and TV series Game of Thrones were the biggest crowd pullers of 2019 generating some £106m and £50m respectively.
He said: "Early indications for 2019 suggest a strong start for visitor figures and while Brexit represents a significant and ongoing issue, we are planning ahead for the next decade of growth and achieving our objective of doubling the value of tourism to £2bn by 2030."
