American firm Aflac has chosen an 11,000 sq ft office space at City Quays for its new Centre for Advanced Technology.

The 10-year lease with Belfast Harbour will see it grow its workforce here to 130 employees by 2023. The centre will add to the company's cybersecurity and innovation teams in the US and Japan.

"City Quays offers an ideal location for technology innovation with its modern facilities and amenities," said Keith Farley, managing director and vice president of Aflac Northern Ireland.

"This lease is another sign of our commitment to the long-term success of this centre and the community of Belfast."
