Victoria Square named top spot for seventh year

By Staff Reporter

Belfast's Victoria Square has been named Northern Ireland's top shopping centre for the seventh year in a row.

The centre takes the top spot in a guide published by retail consultancy Trevor Wood Associates.

Commercial property agency Lambert Smith Hampton is named both leading letting agent and leading managing agent.

Tristan Capital Partners, owners of Bloomfield Shopping Centre, is described as the top investment manager here, while Wirefox appears in fourth place following its purchase of CastleCourt in July. And NewRiver REIT is now in fifth place following the extension of the Abbeycentre.

Costa Coffee is the top ranking shopping centre tenant in the UK, with 286 units, followed by Card Factory, EE, New Look and Boots.

Lambert Smith Hampton said it was "delighted" to retain its pole position.
