Waterfront site next to Titanic Belfast goes on market
A site next to one of Belfast's most popular tourist destinations has been put up for sale.
Offers are being invited for the 1.77 acre waterfront area next to Titanic Belfast.
It is part of the Plater's Yard site, which falls within an area earmarked for the second phase of development of the Titanic Quarter.
Full planning permission has already been granted for two hotels and 152 apartments, plus 12 commercial units and 382 underground car parking spaces.
James Eyre, commercial director at Titanic Quarter Ltd, said the sale was a chance for developers to buy into a Belfast success story.
"During the past decade over £425m has been invested in the Titanic Quarter, which is now home to over 100 national and international organisations; 20,000 people work, live and study here daily, while over one million people visit Titanic Quarter every year," he added.
Belfast Harbour property director Graeme Johnston said: "We continue to work in close collaboration with Titanic Quarter Limited to strategically regenerate Belfast's waterfront.

"In the past decade the area has transformed into one of the city's key tourism, leisure and residential destinations.
"Plater's Yard planning enables a wide mix of uses and provides an excellent opportunity to participate in Belfast's growth.
"The site offers excellent opportunities for those seeking to locate in one of Europe's most significant waterfront locations."
CBRE director David Wright said the sale was a rare opportunity to buy a waterside development site at the Titanic Quarter.
