Welcome Centre in picture as Belfast told it's 'China ready'
Belfast's Welcome Centre has been awarded a major Chinese tourism accreditation.
Visit Belfast has been recognised as 'China ready', a global accreditation system that identifies products and services Chinese consumers can trust.
It marks a step forward in the tourism agency's efforts to maximise Belfast's popularity with Chinese tourists.
Councillor Mairead O'Donnell, chair of the city growth committee, congratulated Visit Belfast.
"The council is keen to build on the many 'China ready' initiatives we have delivered, including the signing of our formal Sister Cities Agreement with Shenyang last spring," she said.
