Wilsons to auction off bitcoin next week after Belgian deal
Northern Ireland firm Wilsons Auctions will hold a bitcoin auction after reaching a deal with the Belgium Federal Government.
Wilsons, which is based in Mallusk, is storing and selling the seized crypto assets.
The 24-hour sell-off will start at noon on February 28.
The lots will consist of around 315 coins, with no reserve, and will include 104.99 each of bitcoin, bitcoin gold and bitcoin cash.
The bitcoins were seized by the Belgium police after a drug trafficking case in which the criminals used the DarkNet to sell drugs.
