Zara had to shut its doors due to concerns about the structural integrity of the Bank Buildings, which housed Primark, following the blaze.

Several of those businesses have since been able to reopen due to a walkway being installed opposite the Bank Buildings in December, linking Royal Avenue to Donegall Place. Zara, however, has remained closed.

Since the August fire, Primark has also reopened and announced it would open a second location in the former New Look outlet on Donegall Place in April.

While no date has been set for Zara's reopening, a spokesperson told the BBC it will be "as soon as possible".
