Zara's Belfast store is set to reopen in 'late spring'
Fashion brand Zara has said its Belfast store will reopen in "late spring" as its parent company reported higher profits and sales.
Parent company Inditex also owns brands Pull & Bear and Stradivarius, and has three stores in Belfast altogether.
However, its Zara store at Donegall Place has been closed since late August, when a cordon was imposed following a fire at Primark's Bank Buildings.
Yesterday a spokeswoman said it was due to reopen in "late spring" but gave no further detail. Inditex posted net income of €3.44bn (£2.96bn) for the financial year ended January, compared with €3.37bn (£2.9bn) a year earlier.
Sales increased to €26.1bn (£22.42bn) from €25.3bn (£21.74bn) as like-for-like sales grew by 4%.
