Both had been backed by Irish venture capital fund Kildare Partners, with two of its directors, Ryan Horstman and Emer Finnan, appointed to both companies.
However, they have since resigned from Forestside Acquisitions.
Two new directors Mark Fenchelle and Louis Paletta, have now been appointed.
Forestside Shopping Centre remains one of Belfast’s most successful retail destinations.
A branch of health and beauty retailer chain Superdrug recently opened at the location, in the unit formerly occupied by New Look.
