Belfast to New York flights slashed to £79 by Norwegian

LOW-COST airline Norwegian has said it’s selling £79 one-way flights between Belfast International and the US between today and Monday.

The flights are available for a limited time only at

Norwegian offers seasonal transatlantic flights from Belfast to New York Stewart International Airport and Providence Airport near Boston on the US east coast.

The carrier flies brand new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft with 189 seats from Belfast to the USA four times a week in the summer season.

The airline has suspended the routes in the winter-time, so that both routes will cease at the end of October.

The airline said: “For travel to the USA from Belfast in September and October, Norwegian will launch a five-day special offer on fares from Thursday August 2 00:01 BST until Monday 6 August 22:59 BST.

“The five-day offer will be available on Norwegian’s affordable transatlantic flights from Belfast nonstop to New York Stewart International Airport in New York state and Providence International Airport in Rhode Island which offers good access to Boston and attractions in New England from just £79 one-way*.

“Customers can book now at using campaign code FLYFORLESS.”

Last month the airline said it was “still confirming our route schedule for summer 2019 and aim to announce our plans in the coming weeks once everything is finalised”.

“We are monitoring how our Belfast routes perform this summer. If there’s strong passenger demand, as we anticipate, the services will likely return as a seasonal route next summer.”
