Clonard credit union opens new branch in west Belfast's Park Centre
Clonard Credit Union (CCU) has opened a branch in west Belfast's the Park Centre, creating 10 jobs.
CCU is one of the biggest credit unions in Belfast. Its new premises are opposite new 40,000 sq ft B&M and Home Bargains superstores due to open in September.
The addition of the new superstores and the credit union is expected to increase footfall.
Ruth Clarke, chief executive of CCU, said the opening reflected the growth of the organisation "among people who want to save and want to access loans with a very low interest rate".
At the opening were (from left), Antonia Cunningham, Gareth Smith and Lynette McMullan.
