A family-owned auction business is expanding further into the wider UK market after landing a major new deal.

Mid Ulster Auctions, based in Magherafelt, Co Londonderry, has been appointed by CP Dynes, a groundworks and drainage specialist, based in Chelmsford, to manage a multi-million-pound fleet renewal sale.

The company will now manage the sale of a catalogue of 116 lots valued at over £2m in the online-only public auction, which is due to take place on Saturday, June 6 at 10am.

The sale has been updated to a live online hybrid auction due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines.

“The upcoming fleet renewal sale represents our first live online hybrid auction as we focus our efforts to expand our services in new high-growth markets,” Noel Lennon, Mid Ulster Auctions director, says.

“We’re anticipating significant interest for the extensive catalogue of quality heavy plant and construction machinery.

“Over the past two decades of our professional and personal approach to customer relationships has supported many of our partners to maximise the value of their assets as their businesses grow.

“As we expand in the GB market, we look forward to continuing this support and offering a tailored service to new, prospective clients.”
