Record entries are expected for the 2021 Ulster Grocer Marketing Awards, celebrating the sector following the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The awards are an opportunity for companies in the Northern Ireland grocery sector to highlight their successes and achievements.

Campaigns highlighting safety measures and messages of support for the grocery sector during lockdown are invited to enter alongside regular marketing activity.

Entry to the 10 categories is open to everyone from producers, suppliers, wholesalers and service providers to independent retailers and retail groups. Entries close on June 4

The shortlist will be published in the Ulster Grocer in August, and an awards ceremony will later be held.

Ulster Grocer editor Alyson Magee said: “We are proud to be able to honour the sector as we ease out of lockdown with our 33rd annual awards.”
